Almigthy Almond Protein Balls
Vegan and glutenfree protein balls with almond butter
Ingredients
- 15 dates (pitted)
- 2 tbsp almond butter
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (approx. 0.4 oz)
- 50 grams almond flour (1.8 oz)
- 100-150 grams dark chocolate (3.5-5.3 oz)
Instructions
-
Add the pitted dates to a bowl and mash them with a fork (you can add a splash of hot water to make it easier). You can also blend them in a foodprocessor.
-
Add almond butter to the date mixture and mix well.
-
Add almond flour and protein powder (you might need a little more or a little less almond flour depending on how juicy your dates are)
-
Make the date mixture into small balls (I made 15) and put them in the fridge while you melt the chocolate.
-
Melt the chocolate and dip the almond balls in the chocolate and cover them. Lay them on a plate with baking/parchment paper.
-
Let the chocolate dry/solidify by putting the chocolate covered almond balls in the fridge.
-
Store the almond protein balls in a box in the fridge.
