Ingredients

  • 15 dates (pitted)
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (approx. 0.4 oz)
  • 50 grams almond flour (1.8 oz)
  • 100-150 grams dark chocolate (3.5-5.3 oz)

Instructions

  1. Add the pitted dates to a bowl and mash them with a fork (you can add a splash of hot water to make it easier). You can also blend them in a foodprocessor.

  2. Add almond butter to the date mixture and mix well.

  3. Add almond flour and protein powder (you might need a little more or a little less almond flour depending on how juicy your dates are)

  4. Make the date mixture into small balls (I made 15) and put them in the fridge while you melt the chocolate.

  5. Melt the chocolate and dip the almond balls in the chocolate and cover them. Lay them on a plate with baking/parchment paper.

  6. Let the chocolate dry/solidify by putting the chocolate covered almond balls in the fridge.

  7. Store the almond protein balls in a box in the fridge.
