A bowl of oatmeal a day keeps the doctor away!
My go-to breakfast. It’s the perfect start to the day.
– 1 dl quick oats
– ½ dl rolled oats
– 3 dl. plant milk (I used oat milk)
– ½ tsp. vanilla powder (or 1 tsp. vanilla sugar)
– 1 tsp. cinnamon
– 1 tbsp. chia seeds and/or ground flaxseeds
Add all the ingredients to a pot, stir well and bring it to a boil.
Let it boil for approx. 2 minutes.
Lower to a simmer and let it simmer for an additional 1-2 minutes or until the oatmeal has the desired consistency.
Serve with fresh fruit. If you want it to be extra freaking yummy then top it off with a little peanut-caramel sauce
– 2 tbsp. peanut butter
– 2 tsp. maple syrup
– 1-2 tbsp. water
Mix all the ingredients well and pour it on top of your oatmeal
