TASTY TANGERINE TREATS 🍊 From the producers of chocolate covered strawberries comes the chocolate covered tangerines 🍫 Winter is just around the corner and so are the winter fruits including the lovely snack fruit that is the tangerine 🍊
In the summer we have chocolate covered strawberries, in the fall we get chocolate covered figs and NOW this winter we are making chocolate covered tangerines a THING… cause it’s crazy DELICIOUS! and SO simple to make 👌🍊🍫

This tangerine treat is so simply to make that it really doesn’t require a recipe but just to be sure I have written down the recipe anyway 🍊

Tangerine Treats
Chocolate covered tangerines
Ingredients
- 4 tangerines
- 100 grams dark chocolate (3.5 oz)
- 1-2 tbsp desiccated coconut (for topping)
Instructions

Peel the tangerine and split them into it's small individual pieces.

Melt some dark vegan chocolate and dip the tangerine pieces into the melted chocolate so that it covers about half the tangerine piece.

After dipping the tangerine pieces in the chocolate lay them on a piece of parchment paper. If you wish you can sprinkle them with some desiccated chocolate.

Let the chocolate harden/solitify before serving them or adding them to a container for storage. Store in the fridge.

VEGAN CHOCOLATE?
Are dark chocolate chips vegan? This is a question that I’m asked quite often, and thankfully the answer to that is YES! Cacao (which chocolate is made of) itself is vegan. While milk is sometimes added (so do look at the ingredients), there are many brands of dark chocolate that are vegan and vegan chocolate even vegan milk chocolate is becoming much easier to find 🍫
